MENGAPA LYSAGHT TRIMDEK ®

– LYSAGHT TRIMDEK® memiliki kapasitas bentang yang besar sehingga dapat dipasang dengan jarak tumpuan yang cukup besar. Sistem pengikatan sangat mudah dan cepat, baik terhadap tumpuan baja atau kayu. Panjang yang menerus dengan tumpangan samping yang tahan cuaca memungkinkan LYSAGHT TRIMDEK® untuk dipasang dengan aman pada sudut kemiringan sampai tiga derajat (30). – LYSAGHT TRIMDEK® dibuat dari baja bertegangan tarik tinggi ZINCALUME® dan Clean COLORBOND® dari BlueScope Steel. Baja lapis ZINCALUME® adalah baja dengan lapisan yang terdiri dari perpaduan antara 43.5% Seng, 55% Alumunium dan 1.5% Silikon sebagai lapis pelindung terhadap korosi yang tinggi. Ketahanan ZINCALUME® terhadap korosi empat sampai lima kali dibanding baja galbani lain dengan tebal lapisan sama. – Kemampuan untuk digunakan sebagai fungsi lengkung yang memberikan konsep arsitektur yang modern. Teknologi ini memungkinkan untuk digunakan dalam desain dengan kontur dan tampilan yang berbeda.

TRIMDEK OPTIMA® is subtle-fluted steel cladding, available in long lengths, so on most jobs you can have one sheet from ridge to gutter or full wall height without end laps.TRIMDEK OPTIMA® is made of high strength steel and despite its lightness, provides excel-lent spanning capacity. The strength spanning ability, lightness and rigidity of TRIMDEK OPTIMA® means wide support spacing’s can be used with safety.

LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK® OPTIMA steel roofing profile is a subtle roofing and walling profile.

The fluting in the pans provides strength and long spanning capabilities, making it one of the most economical LYSAGHT® roof profiles. Its aesthetically pleasing exterior provides an economic roofing option for contemporary homes, industrial and commercial roofing, and wall cladding applications. It has bold and widely spaced ribs, and is available in long lengths (subject to transportation considerations). Due to its strength, spanning ability, light weight and rigidity, wide support spacings can be safely used.

LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK® OPTIMA steel roofing profile can be curved by the crimp curving process. It is available in both convex and concave shapes to inject the elements of versatility and creativity in building designs. The minimum radius of curvature must be at least 450mm for convex and 550mm for concave to underside of pan of sheet.

Crimp curved LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK® OPTIMA steel cladding is designed to facilitate new and refreshing designs for commercial, industrial, civic and domestic buildings. This design freedom has also resulted in significant cost savings in construction, mainly due to:

  • Less supporting framework required for fascias, parapets and roofs
  • Simplified and reduced work involved in installation of fascia cladding
  • Reduction or elimination of many flashings and cappings
  • Less cladding material required to cover a given curve

Warnings

Lead and copper are not recommended for use with Clean COLORBOND® steel or ZINCALUME® steel as contact with these metals can cause accelerated corrosion. The minimum recommended roof pitch is 1 degree. Direct contact should therefore be avoided. When inside condensation conditions are likely, coated steel girts should be used so that ZINCALUME® steel coming into contact with bare steel is avoided.

* A capacity reduction factor of 0.9 is applied to strength capacities. These capacities are based on tests conducted at BlueScope Steel’s NATA registered testing laboratory using a direct pressure testing rig. Supports must not be less than 1mm BMT.

LIMIT STATES WIND PRESSURES

The wind pressure capacities are based on tests conducted at BlueScope Lysaght’s NATA registered testing laboratory.

Testing was conducted in accordance with AS 1562.1 – 1992 Design and Installation of Sheet Roof and Wall Cladding – Metal, and AS 4040.2 – 1992 Resistance to Wind Pressure for Non-cyclonic Regions. The pressure capacities for serviceability are based on a deflection limit of (span/120) + (maximum fastener pitch/30).

The pressure capacities for strength have been determined by testing the cladding to failure (ultimate capacity). These pressures are applicable when the cladding is fixed to a minimum of 1.0mm, G550 steel.
